Members or RF here are misunderstanding the need of general travellers or taking the travelling public for granted that they will shift to Vande Bharat day time. The travellers are paying premium to travel in night to reach major cities by morning to attend to office and Business by 9-10 whereas these VB being planned l9ng distance stretching 7-8hrs reach by afternoon wasting half a day. Though Imdore and Nagpur are big cities of 30lac population after the VB extended to Nagpur there is no change in occupancy from Indore and night buses are still running same is same case with many other routes be it Vskp Hyd. Indore VB is getting extra travellers to Ujjain from Nagpur and all stations are kept in general booking making it seem full every day.
Tikamgarh ,Chattarpur has one train to Indore.If another option will be available ,Paseengers will use it.Please tell if they want to give VB to Khajuraho which route is best?.public chooses the best available option ie train or bus depending on comfort,money and time.
Member#121709 said exactly what I was trying to highlight. ONT journeys are preferred because they reward you a complete day at the destination to finish your work. ICE become successful where people reach at their destinations by office hours (10-11) and leave in the evening (5-6), stretching the journey time to not more than 6 hours.
Timings of INDB KURJ ONT train were not an issue as much as I can recall. It was having an overnight journey only.
The matter of concern primarily is not the destination from KURJ which will attract...
