The UTS mobile app offers convenient general ticket booking within a 20-kilometer radius of railway stations (increased from 5 kilometers on November 15, 2022). This app allows users to book general, platform, and even MST tickets. The railway initiated this service to alleviate long queues at counters, promote online ticketing, and encourage a cashless system. Despite this, many passengers remain unaware of this feature. The app aims to enable passengers to book unreserved tickets from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to stand in queues and promoting faster ticket availability and a more dynamic ticketing system.

Railway ne yeh scheme launch ki thi taki passenger ko counter pe lagne wali lines se mukti mile, online ticketing ko promote kiya jaaye, aur cashless system ko badhawa mile. Lekin, bahut saare passengers ko is scheme ke baare mein pata nahi hai.
