by December 25th. The addition of a Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat train would make travel between these cities more convenient, especially for Uttarakhand residents. Currently, a Vande Bharat Express train operates between Dehradun and Delhi. A proposal has also been submitted for a Vande Bharat Express train service connecting Kathgodam to other destinations, potentially benefiting residents of Uttarakhand's Kumaon region. The North Railway is working on finalizing the schedule for a direct train between Lucknow and Patna, as well as another direct train connecting Lucknow to Dehradun via Moradabad. In addition, a direct train from Lucknow to Mumbai is planned.
