I think people at doaba region are rich and modern they spend more money so train like vande bharat would be successful in anritsar ,jalandhar ludhiana belt even it has shatabadi but on other part of ounjab like patiala ,barnala ,bathinda, firozpur they were more likely to save money so if we think about vb from delhi to bti via pta ,bnn it take 5hrs on average and on other hand bathinda superfast ,punjab mail has nerely same duration abd ticket would be cheaper compare to vande bharat sply in 3a that reason but it may got patronage from pariala

yeah... FZPR MOGA LDH NDLS can be done in 5 hours.. it will really attract travelers from Southern Doab and Northern Malwa region.. as compared to Shatabdi which use to take 7 hours to complete 386 kms of distance... slower than buses...

also , i truly not see a promising future of Sri ganganagar Delhi VB via BTI... this is again a route which will favor intercity more than VB .. may be they should introduce .. VS intercity services as well... for such destinations which can not sustain 8 coach VB..

Yes agree, but if this technology can be developed in near future then a 24 coach vb can be started from ndls in morning, then
1. De attached 8 coaches at umb for Kalka via cdg side.
2. De attached 8 coaches at rpj both for Ldh/Fzr side and Pta/bti side.
This will led to most efficient use of resources.

Agree
Most VBs launched on non metro routes are anyhow fast intercities. In reality too all these routes needed Intercities only.
Handful VBs like GNTR-MMCT, NDLS-BSB, NDLS-SVDK, HNZM-RKMP, MAS-MYS give a feel of proper VBs. Look at the number of un deserving stoppages on other VBs bringing down the end to end average speed too.
