So finally Wagholi comes under PMC, all thanks to the development that has happened over the past decade. I remember people saying it's one of the most developed gram panchayat of the country.

Many long distance trains pass through Pune at odd mid night hours. No originating trains to anywhere in South India. Trains to Bangalore/ Mysore, Chennai/ Madurai, Vijayawada/ Vizag, Hubli/ Ballari should start from Pune at convenient hours.

As now Hadapsar has been identified as new terminal for Pune. Hope new trains to south can start from here. We are seeing Hdp-Hyb has restarted from same station.

Yes I agree with you. Even in north it does not seem to be having more except few trains like Jhelum exp, Azad hind, Howrah duronto. Unlike Nagpur I am not much familiar with the trains starting from Pune. Correct me if there are more trains than the three I mentioned above. As I already said in few blogs before secondary cities like Pune, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Madurai, etc should already be having direct trains to popular destinations and that it has not happened yet is surprising me. Central govt aims to develop more airports in small places why not follow the same and run more trains too? Private trains which are said to be coming should be run in different routes and not do copy paste of already existing one !
