Work is going on. In the first place ASK-KARDI section may be ready by May/June 18. The other sections between TK-ASK may be over by 2019.Chickbanavar-UBL sec RE is also sanctioned but don't have any idea when the work will start
So they have missed the target.

Works are almost completed till DVG entrance from JRU. Due to land acquisition problems, it hasnt progressed inside DVG city.
Yes. I did see that JRU to THN doubling is almost done /blog/post/2939751
But still, it is the track linking and signalling that seems to take for ages. If it is done b/w RDI-ASK and JRU-THN, then that would be major relief.
Don't know why signalling and track linking, which are minor works compared to the actual doubling, is put off / stalled indefinitely.

But at Sasalu they still have to build more tracks for loading the mineral, Sasalu is ore loading point, along with a new main line.
