What nonsense? It was never intended to be extended till Mangalore. And what a silly logic applied by the newspaper that it has been named as Dadar-Ratnagiri-Madgaon Passenger to satisfy the people instead of being named as Dadar-Madgaon. :D They are two different trains with RSA.
Instead of cancellation of train number 50101/50102, please extended to Mangalore Central definitely helpful to Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka coastal people. People thinking that KRCL given the gift of completion of 25 years.
How can this train give you passenger if this train runs during night time? No local traveller can use this train as it reaches destination in early morning. And even return train #50102 runs in late night. How can rural people catch connected road service in night time?
This train only had purpose to give Mumbai bound people one more train as #50103 reaches Ratanagiri around around 01:30 AM and this train is further run as #50101 to Madgaon. Nothing else!
