This is only an 8 Hour journey train. Even Non Veg people (Hindus) on an average don't eat non veg everyday. That too it is ONLY ONE Train out of many in the SAME ROUTE.
And this route is a Pilgrimage route to SVDK, in India, people try to avoid non veg when going for pilgrimage.Thats why, you will find in IRI, in Page of Shri Shakti Express, it's written that Only Veg food is served, although it seems unofficial as there is almost nil demand for non veg anyways, it becomes...
more... uneconomical to offer non veg if demand is very less.
VB is a Food Serving Train, IRCTC has the COMPLETE RECORD OF How many people here opt for VEG or NON VEG Option. In india, Veg people are adverse to and avoid taking non veg, while Non veg people eat Veg food as part and parcel of their lives.
I don't support this Ban, but it's absolutely clear, that NO ONE WILL BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED BY THIS, it as if IRCTC IS DISCONTINUING NON VEG Option on a Route as IT IS HAVING LESS DEMAND FOR NON VEG FOOD, And anyways in India, Everyone ( Veg/ non veg) happily eats Veg food.
This is my perspective, I think this Issue doesn't even deserve much attention.
