Before VB Express ,LTT-Secunderabad Duronto Express took 6hrs 55 min,whereas VB express takes 6hrs 35 minutes. It would be good if CR can increase the speed further like other VB Express train to 75 km/hr average and therefore reducing travel time by 30-45 minutes

Instead a loop line between Kengeri and Yeshwantpur along the ring road will be more cost effective. This will enable trains to Mysore from Tumkur to avoid Bangalore City. From Yeshwantpur, the link to Bangarpet is also available
