Why Would Someone Book This Train To HWH From BBS Since You Have Both Jan Shatabdi & Puri Shatabdi Available ?
Maybe timing was an issue, as both the trains you mentioned depart early morning. This train arrives at a decent time at around 10 o' clock.
During that time JS and Shatabdi was full. Since I was travelling with my father, 2S in JS was not an option. Hence availed this train

Horrible experience indeed. But since that day I think Dhauli has improved. Travelled in it recently from BLS and I had a pleasant ride actually. I think your tweet had an action. Still, to travel to Puri, I always prefer Duronto due to punctuality and less stops. In it, I can enjoy a smooth ride unlike the other trains.
For Tourists Duronto Is A Bad Option,, Since It Reaches At Around 10:30pm. And You Pay For One Day Hotel Charges For Nothing
I am actually talking about Sealdah-Puri Duronto. It reaches Puri by about 4.15 am which in my opinion is a nice time to reach Puri.
Heard So...Never Traveled ....Traveled By Puri Howrah Duronto Way Back in 2012...That Was A Nightmare As Well Since Our Coach C-4 Caught Fire , Luckily There Was No Casualty
Lucky escape! The train you are talking about is HWH-Puri Shatabdi that was running with ICF rakes then. Now it has LHB rakes but I still think their service is a bit lacking. You should travel by Duronto once. It is pretty good, better than most of the trains on this route to be honest.
Yup. It Was A Shabby Dirty Duronto Coach..... Probably Now It Is Used As HWH-DGHA Duronto Exp....Coz In 2016 We Traveled By It From DGHA To HWH....For Puri We Prefer HWH-PURI Exp...Perfect Timing [ Only If You Are Lucky Enough To Get Confirmed Tickets]
Yes, PURI Express tickets go out quickly. Also, the old rake is finally not in use anymore as the HWH-Digha AC Express has been given new rakes. I also had nightmares when I was travelling in it with my family. Condition of the rake was very poor. Glad it is replaced now.
For Digha I Have Planned Something Else...Just For A New Experience.... I Will Travel By EMU Which Operates From SRC At 6:10 Hrs.... It Operates As SRC-MCA EMU.....And The Same Train Operates As MCA-DGHA EMU After A 10 Mins Halt At MCA.....Will Make This Trip Whenever I'm At Calcutta Next Time

Yes, that is true. Although I believe that a fast passenger from SHM or SRC would be ideal for passengers who do not get a seat in Tamralipta or do not want to book in Super AC due to high fare.
