Free allowance for luggage of 35 kg per full fare passenger and 20 kg per child ticket passenger, for all classes. The free allowance can be carried in up to two pieces of luggages. The dimensions of the luggage shall not exceed 65cm x 80cm, in view of the limitations of the scanners in use.

I was very excited ever since I bought the tickets of Maitree Express, since it was supposed to be my first ever International Train Travel as all my international travels till date were Air Travel. But To Be Honest This Train Disappointed Me A Big Deal

The Toilets Were Leaking & Stinking. Also There Was No OBHS Through Out The Journey

2. It Was Not Told That Even In 1A BR Is Allocating 3 Pax ( Their Logic Is It's A Day Train) In A Coupe Of 2

3. Cooling Was Pathetic. No Changes Had Been Made Even After Multiple Complains.

4. The Train Ran Like A Passenger Train After Iswardi Jn. Was Put In A Loup Just Before Bangabandhu Bridge For An Hour. It Shows How BR Prioritize An International Train

In the old days, when First Class Non-AC used to exist, the same system was there. During day journeys an extra passenger was accommodated in a coupe and two extra passengers in a 4 berther. But in AC First, this has never been so to the best of my knowledge

Your Knowledge Is Right. I Have Traveled In 1A On Many Occasions In IR. Never Saw 3 Pax Allotment In A Cabin For 2....On The Contrary, I Have Traveled By Sunderban Express ( Dhaka - Khulna) in 1A...There As Well 6 Pax Allotment Was There In A Cabin Of 4
