CSMT - Ratnagiri is 431 km, CSMT - Kudal is 626 km (inflated distance on Konkan route)
The return timings might clash with the Guruvayur/Tuticorin - Chennai Egmore Express ??
CSMT-RN is 344 km in IRI, but In KR there is inflated distance, km will be more than the actual ones.
And btw, Vaigai and Pallavan as I said, are ordinary AC CC, with no automatic doors, infotainment and other features.

Yes......better decision would be to separate Tuticorin Chennai Egmore Day Express with proper rescheduling and making it an 18 coacher at first.
