I am sure that the railways would at least know the pattern of traffic and know which direction traffic flows....hence very surprising in their urgency to start trains an unnecessarily waste resources just to showcase something to passengers. BAND-HSRA passenger at another odd time was another instance of such poor decision.
It was always known that WFD-BAND passenger was going to be another failure with poor patronisation with the timings that it had.

They very well know the flows. But while introducing the trains, they introduce in the reverse direction, not for the required direction.
