Good thought but not sure is this can be so easy to implement. There is a big taxi operators lobby which is also one of the most important vote banks of govt. Also if one observes, till date no non AC BMTC buses are being allowed to run till Airport. On an average one spends Rs 300 on AC BMTC.
Non AC BMTC buses can easily run on reduced fares and more people can have them as options.
Suburban section is also good but will only help people living in certain...
