Oh got it.. Bt its really vry gd train. my fav IR train KSK, good part is unlike other popular train, it has less WL passenger due to RAC allotment of max pass frn Nzm and gives very comfortable journey by sincere non stop runs.. And its not in that limelight too, with simplicity plays role of AP and MH sk too.

but by not going to scand going to kcg via mly bypass this train gets invariably late at kcg.. always used to reach on time when it used to go to SC n then reverse..

Waiting for home signal at SC will eat up almost same time and added to that loco reversal there during busy morning hour will be tough to manage....

sir i agree to ur comment ..the problem is it makes up most of the time till MLY ..it covers up atleast 45 mins to 1 hr between NGP to MLY ..but by taking the loop it looses the same time again..if it was allowed to go to SC ..then it wont loose that time .i agree it will loose some time for home signal but it wont amount to 30 mins to 50 mins which is what it loose by going thru bypass..the problem is multipied by the speed restriciton at malkajgiri , and then overtakes that happen at mettuguda triangle before sitaphlamandi by the mmts and crossing of the KCG - AKOLA exp..

True...The bottleneck is single line from STPD to bypass cabin before lalaguda gate which makes a train to wait along with speed restriction there...Availability of PF's at SC has forced SCR to divert trains via KCG :(
