I am talking about relevant history, ye to sab jaante hi hain ki 20-25 saal pehle PRR aur Tupkadih mein zyada fark nhi tha, PRR mein pichle kuch saal mein very high no. of unreserved passenger movement dekhi gyi h, which is why its revenue has grown maybe slowly lekin all the time
Despite the rapid growth in footfall, PRR's unreserved to reserved passenger ratio continues to be very bleak, isliye revenue is rising only very slowly
My comment was only with respect to a comment stating "Bokaro ko cross kr gya hoga"

because it is not something that has happened yesterday, kaafi pehle BKSC se zyada footfall ho gya tha PRR ka, but BKSC ke 2.3 million ke footfall mein 90-95 percent passengers se zyada reserved hain aur PRR k 2.9 million passengers mein zyadatar unreserved hain, isliye revenue mein itna bada disparity h
It is very foolish to compare the two cities as of yet aur jo bhi ye krta h clearly usko socio economic demographic ka farak samajh nhi aata h dono shehar mein

Moving back 20-25 yrs. you won't even find Tupkadih in the map of Adra division properly. There was a halt for the cabin newly built for a bypass which we now call TT line. That's how Tupkadih came into map. PRR had a huge area of loco shed and was a two platform station. Many might wonder why Purulia Jn.'s code is PRR and not PRL even though being an old station is because it was given code name after it's MG loco-shed(Purulia Railway-PRR). The town had significant population at that time yet railway connectivity merely consisted of only four trains a day. 316, 62A, 828 and 2A(I guess) were the only trains. So definately, Adra has glorious history.

It's a figurative thing, obviously PRR aur tupkadih mein fark raha hoga, I am just saying that PRR has only become worthy in the eyes of the railways in the last 10-15 years only
Speaking of railway development in the region even BKSC station pe bas ek platform tha without a building or anything until very late in the 80s, so the entire division as such had nothing to show for in terms of infrastructure until the dawn of this century, so except adra every station in the present day division was in a ridiculously poor state, Bokaro mein log isliye hi aate the qki alleppey pakadna hota tha, and it was dreaded

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
