One of my childhood favourite train which I travelled over 12 times for Howrah. Since I am travelling with it , it used to get diesel loco from Raxaul to Barauni and from there electric loco hauled it.
After electrification of another 100km section of Barauni-Muzaffarpur it still used an ALCo till Barauni. In 2016 perhaps it started getting E-Loco from Muzaffarpur to Howrah but only after few days due to space issues MFP surrendered to carry out loco change.
Being an ALCo fan I felt sad at that time but...

again ALCo was hauling it in my section.
Now its whole route is electrified and it is getting E-Loco end to end. Honestly speaking not happy with it but at the end of the day it is beneficial regarding carbon emissions & saves time. Enjoyed my last trip in this on 7th September 2018 when ALCo hauled itЁЯШНЁЯШН
Today , perhaps, it was its third run with electric loco which I captured ! Entering Muzaffarpur from Motihari side with a HWH WAP-4 #22326

It is for better though. Thoda sa Avg speed badha dete train ka to kaafi accha hota. Kuch zyada hi slow hai current time table.
