UTS app or Unreserved Ticketing System app is basically design and operate by CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) an organization of Indian Railway..

it was made for sub urban train but due to revolution in smart phones, Railway and CRIS decided to expand it to all the network of IR to book tickets...
.
There are 4 types of booking allowed
1. Nomal Booking
2. Quick Booking
3. Platform Ticket
4. Season Pass (MST)
.
Two types available further:-
1. Book and Travel Paperless (M-Ticket)
2. Book and Print Paper (P-Ticket)
.
Procedure:-
◆ Download the UTS app via Google Play Store
◆ Register on UTS app by filling necessary details
◆ Select the ticket booking which u wish
◆ Again select the M-Ticket or P-Ticket
◆ It will take your GPS and show u the nearest station in 5Km radius
◆ Select station and then enter destination station
◆ Then No. of Pax, Child, Train Type etc..
◆ Proceed to Payment via R-Wallet / Debit/Credit Cards
◆ Do your payment and ticket booking done
◆ Visit to Booked tickets and show whenever the Travel Authority will ask u for tickets

It only works in the Radius of 5km from nearest station and 50m away from the Station/Tracks
.
