If the train would have been in speed it could have been disastrous for these worker people.

in digging ground and stones in tracks,they were literally standing between the tracks.
And an announcement took place on platform for workers and passengers to stay away from mainline track as a freight will be going through the track.But workers weren't paying attention to it.Meanwhile on PF one of the railway worker was shouting on walkie talkie that the train is coming on mainline,tell the workers to stay away.

The train came nearer and nearer,now the track engineer was in stress now how to move the workers aside,he started yelling from behind to move away,and the loco RTM 13459 WDG3A (ex VTA) was honking continously,still the workers were not even looking towards the train but they were busy in digging,as the train came near to them I started walking ahead on PF and shouted them to move away,"Hatiye,track se baahar aayiye,train nazdik aagayi aaplogo ke".I went ahead on PF and shouted loudly to each one of them,then finally they got away from the track.Meanwhile track engineer showed the train red flag.
The track engineer waved me and told thanks for coming out for helping and intimating them.Further he added,"bade ajeeb log hai yeh khud ki jaan ki kuch padi hi nahi inko,hamare waande ho jaate iss chakkar mein".
Loco Pilot was very intelligent he slowed down the train by applying brakes well before,he understood the situation from far away.He shouted on the workers,"arre hatna chahiye na aap logo ne kuch padi hi nhi aaplogo khudke jaan ki",further he waved me and then told to the track engineer,"yeh kaise workers hai bhai,woh toh achha hua meine brake lagake slow down kardi thi train".
