Lone_Ranger~ 715 blog postsThis trains needs an extension to Dhanbad. If extended to Dhanbad, this train will get more patronage and also Dhanbad will get another connection with Tatanagar in the morning hours.
After loosing so many trains due to closure of DC line, Dhanbad definitely deserves some more originating trains. If RB can't introduce new trains then atleast they can extend the following services to Dhanbad -

To be honest connectivity between North and South Bengal have been pathetic, lot of improvements have taken place but still much is left to be desired....
Coochbehar, Alipurdwar, Balurghat e motto jaiga ekhono bhalo bhabe connected noi Asansol, Durgapur ba Bankurar sathe....
Everything has to be done via Kolkata and this puts a lot of strain.....
Rather concentrating exclusively on Kolkata more emphasis should...

Yes i agree with you......i feel that ASN-SDAH INTERCITY can be easily extended till DHN, because this is not overcrowded as AGNIVEENA EXP. Also dhn will get a good connectivity to kolkata also....Around 3 to 4 yrs back SER wanted to extend this train to PRR for 2nd connectivity route to KOAA. But ER refused strongly to this.
I think u can tweet to DRM DHN, GM ECR about this because IRTTC meeting is going on in MUMBAI today. All new trains fate is on 20 to 22 or 23 feb 2018 meeting.

Already proposal was send by ECR long back in 2008 for extension to DHN but ER strongly replied with a NO. Same thing happened for the proposal of extension to PRR
