Forget awards. The least "recognition" I expected was him to see my posts and give me access to plot new stations.

I first went to a new station in 2016. When I returned and posted, there was no response to plot it.
Then one ALM came forward.
Subsequently...
more... so many stations I have gone and posted info, each and every time only that same ALM came forward to ask me info and plot.

Not once did Moderator come forward to give me access to plot the new stations.
Each time that same ALM would ask me info in Private message, I will then do a mark-up on GMaps and send it and he will plot.
That ALM always asked me to send info in private, saying we cant do markup and such work in public. Anyway that's his reason.

Once I went to a new station and then that ALM plotted and created a page and then was I unable to type the address as Hindi TL needed to be filled due to some technical issue. I requested, no one replied, then I saw Moderator was online, he too didn't bother. Surely he could have come forward to resolve the technical glitch to allow me to type address. No...... no reaction. Then finally one North Indian Admin helped me.
From then on I stopped typing addresses.

Till date I have gone to so many stations, not once has he come forward to help me update the info in a easy manner. That's the least "recognition" a contributor to the site expects from the owner.
-
Anyway, nowadays, I see that ALM too is offline for a long time. I too was tempted to go to a new station recently, then I thought of the trouble I will have to undergo to get that plotted and page for that station created. Also I was tired. So just left.

I am not after Monitorship or awards or any recognition. Just plain simple access to update the info one has gathered - which I view as "recognition".
-
Now I am not bothered - don't want anything.
Now on, I will just post standalone posts. If not plotted not my concern.
That ALM too is gone now. Atleast he took the initiative. Hardly few ALMs here take any initiative. But for namesake there are literally more than 100 ALMs here.
