Yes IR runs same like this confusing trains. For example Solapur to Gadag 300km branch line and no any feeders for that route but IR use to run before Solapur to Bagalkot Passenger and same train after 5 min halt at Bagalkot use to run as Bagalkot Gadag Passenger simply confusing and one more wonder is at Solapur they mention on board and announcing as Solapur Gadag but all intermediate stations between Solapur Bagalkot mention and announce as Solapur Bagalkot beyond Bagalkot to Gadag intermediate stations mentioned and announce as Bagalkot Gadag pass like this IR works sometimes so I think the same train continues as 54043

Hhm actually correcting on IRI will be not the complete solution as it is not going to use for ppl who are not using Internet to check train timings they depend hardly on station announcement and display at stations. so need to rectify such silly confusions/mistakes from root and that is Indian railways try to make reach your this problem to MOR and RM and concerned Train DRM and General Manager on twitter and any how moderator sir on IRI may take steps to do any solutions for such problems. The train I told Now it's displaying correctly and it also converted to DEMU now so I didn't complain abt it but Railways themselves corrected it..
